Abstract
The detachment of the elastic matrix from a hard filler particle of a solid propellant under tensile stress was simulated by finite-element calcn. A cubic filler particle in a cubic elementary cell was used as a model. The influence of the stage of detachment on the Poisson's ratio is discussed.
