Inline-Vorbehandlung von Kunststofffolien mit Atmospharendruckplasmen

A modular system has been created for inline pretreatment of polypropylene adhesive films with atmospheric pressure plasmas. It has been shown that implementation of that system results in high activation of the films and provides flexibility in creating wide films. Due to the high process speed of 250 m/min, plasma pretreatment does not affect the film's sealing capacity. Pilot-scale experiments have shown that the pretreatment can be integrated into the manufacturing process.
