Extraktstoffgehalt von Lärchensplint- und -kernholz

The extractive content of heart- and sapwood of larch in water and in ethanol/cyclohexane was determined. The results reveal that the extract content in heartwood is much higher than in sapwood. The water extractives in heartwood increase with the age of the tree. However, the age seems to have no influence on the amount extracted by ethanol/cyclohexane.
