Abstract
The present paper provides a new approach to coordinate market and grid operations and shows first results. The coordinated market grid operation management increases the security of the electricity grid by harmonize market and system interests. Besides the coordinated market grid operation management ensures a free and anti-discriminatory market place for all stakeholders to retain the liberalized market structure.
