Thermal energy collector and storage with radiatively heated walls

Experimental results of a small storage cube with transparently insulated walls are given. In 1986 the storage was insulated with silica aerogel pellets, in 1987 with a honeycomb structure from polycarbonate. First results of simulation calculations of bigger storages are reported. (ISE)
