Integrated sensor electronics, the link between sensor and system
Abstract
This contribution deals with integrated sensor electronics for microsystem applications. The monolithic integration of sensor electronics renders realization of readout and interface circuitry tailored to the individual sensor. But the potential of sensor electronics exceeds these functions by compensate for nonideal sensor properties. Thus, high perfomance economical microsystems can be developed, which previously could be realized only in a rudimentary way.
