A knowledge management solution for improving corporate product development

The overall objective of the PRORAD project was to develop a low-cost and pragmatic solution for information management in the process of product idea to product concept development. The PRORAD solution consists of a combination of the PRORAD Methodology and the PRORAD Tool. The PRORAD-consortium has developed an engineering knowledge management methodology and an enabling collaborative knowledge portal, supporting knowledge collection, communication and management during the product concept development process, thereby constituting an overarching platform for Knowledge Management in New Product Development.
