Abstract
For the promotion and expansion of the strengths of the German water industry and the innovation capability of the industrial nation Germany, it is not sufficient to only continue the present research and development advancement. Results will be presented in the joint project "Water 2050", wherein future opportunities for the German water industry are examined.
