Title

Condition monitoring using electrochemical sensors

Other Title
Zustandserkennung mit elektrochemischen Sensoren
Abstract
Condition monitoring means »the use of specialist equipment to measure the condition of processes and/or equipment«. Electrochemical sensors combined with spectroscopic measurement methods, show the way to gather broad information about the condition of fluids in chemical processes and machines. Multivariate algorithms like principal component analysis (PCA) and partial least square (PLS) evaluate conditions directly from the set of measurement values, in special cases without calibration.
