Planed or unexpected maintenance on process manufacturing plants should be as efficient as possible. Assistance systems, which follow the principles of Industrie 4.0 can provide the access to operational data, engineering data and failure prediction to speed up the services applied on the plants. The effects of the implementation of such assistance systems are quantified by the R&D project CPPSprocessAssist.
