Abstract
The transport of electrons and holes in the entire core and the adjacent parts of the confinement of a laser has been studied by following transport histories of individual particles in detail. The average time for entry into the core, travel between the wells and capture into and release from the wells have been extracted for electrons and holes and discussed.
