Title

Ex situ characterization of optical coatings by means of spectrophotometry

Abstract
Focus in the presentation is set on the spectrophotometric characterization of optical coatings. Standard techniques for deriving optical constants of single films on substrates from ex situ transmission and reflection measurements are discussed. Examples include dielectric coatings, transparent conductive oxides, and metal coatings.
