HEMBOT / MODBOGIE

Within the research project High Efficiency Motor Bogie for Modern Trains (HEMBOT), a new light weight motor bogie has been developed by introducing the latest development technologies and modern light weight materials in a simultaneous approach by component suppliers, research institutes, system integrators and operators. As a result the capabilities and potentials of this development were demonstrated on prototypes by extensive testing in a real locomotive.
