Title

Photonic ATM switching with semiconductor laser amplifier gates

Abstract
Semiconductor laser amplifiers were operated as gates in a 2*2 ATM-switching node with a fibre loop optical buffer. The required properties of these gates were also calculated for larger switching nodes.
