A Potential Analysis of Cognitive Assistance Systems in Production Areas

A cognitive assistance system supports the person in information gathering and preparation, decision-making, as well as performing work tasks and coordinating people, machines, processes and products [1]. At present, a large number of cyber physical systems are coming onto the market, which also find their way into today's factories. This paper discusses which technologies are interesting today for research and companies. A short study was used to reflect the current use of cognitive assistance systems in the production environment and to determine the prospects for the future.
