Vision 2020: Future-proofing coating processes

The challenges in coating technology are efficiency and optimisation in application facilities as well as in methods and processes. The coating process needs about 50-70% of the whole energy input within the production process. Implementation of new materials and techniques as well as technical and organisational optimisations - under support of process simulation - will help to create compact, precise, fast, environment-friendly and flexible paint-shops.
