Volkswirtschaftliche und energiewirtschaftliche Aspekte der KWK-Anwendung

The technologies of district heating (DH) and combined heat and power production (CHP) have reached a high degree of maturity. For the Federal Republic of Germany in its border prior to 3 october 1990 the impacts of these technologies on Total Primary Energy Requirements, environment and employment are discussed. Furthermore the obstacles for CHP in industry and public/commercial sector are under consideration just as the possibilities of Contracting in connection with the future prospects for CHP and the measures promoting CHP in Germany.
