Simulation of friction and shear loads on the wear resistance of polymeric foams
Abstract
Deformation in polymeric foam materials due to friction loads depends on normal force. The result of different deformations is different types of failures. In this contribution the construction and test of a load apparatus is shown which produces the different types of features simultaneously. First, experimental results are presented and discussed.
