Order-Oriented Learning Factories: Why and How Learning Factories Have to Adapt

Current developments in personalized manufacturing are bringing the order more and more into the focus of value adding. By using the example of the learning factory advanced industrial engineering aIE it is shown why for learning factories order orientation becomes a must, if they are to meet the requirements of future. In addition, it is shown what implications this has for the learning factories themselves, the competencies to be developed, and future education formats.
