Title

The monitoring of indoor air quality and comfort. The experience of the project Cetieb

Abstract
Refurbishing old buildings to make them energy efficient often leaves them so tightly sealed that indoor air quality suffers, with possible damaging consequences for human health and productivity. The EU-funded Cetieb research project is working to solve this problem by developing innovative ways of both monitoring and controlling the indoor environment in the most cost-effective ways possible. The development includes a set of tools based on innovative sensors. The concept of those tools was presented in a previous work. This paper presents the results obtained from the field-testing in laboratory environment and real case studies.
