Anwendungsstand künstlicher neuronaler Netze in der Automatisierungstechnik. Teil 4: Anwendung neuronaler Netze in der Bildverarbeitung

Within this paper the state-of-the-art applying artificial neural networks in image proessing, in particular in industrial vision, is reviewed. After a short view at the actual situation of industrial vision, today's feasibility of applying artificial neural networks is discussed. As an example an industrial vision system, based on neural network, is presented, which is already operating in an industrial environment.
