ErP - the European directive on ecodesign

This is a chapter of the 2012 WEEE handbook, which focuses on electronics recycling and the related European legislation. This Chapter gives an overview of the European Ecodesign Regulation for energy related products (ErP). This is helpful in order to highlight different regulatory approaches compared to WEEE and to show the potentials for collaboration or for conflicts between the two regulations.
