Probleme der wissenschaftlich-technischen Visualisierung

Starting from the presentation of the special requests on scientific visualization and its position in the research cycle we ask for a methodology of the selection and application of visualization methods. First step into this direction is the classification of basic visualization methods. For this we analyse two application scenarios. Two approaches for the selection of a visualization method are discussed and unresolved problems for transfer to a more general application area are mentioned.
