Ansatz eines Bildauswertungssystems auf einem Mikrorechner fuer den Einsatz in einem Praktikum

Nowadays microcomputers give students the opportunity to study the field of image processing and pattern recognition on a - compared to some years ago - low cost image processing system. For two years such systems (each including an IBM microcomputer, a real time image digitiser, camera, monitor, and an input device) are available for the use in our student's laboratory. In combination with our framework for image processing, this system enables students to learn the basic concepts of image processing by "playing" with the available routines without the need for spending much time studying a system manual.
