Innovation and technology transfer

Europe can only achieve and secure a high standard of living with competitive sustainable manufacturing in highly automated learning factories with a high degree of man-machine cooperation (Manufuture Strategy). A continuous innovation and technology transfer process in Eastern Europe is indispensable, in order to restore the manufacturing productivity deteriorated significantly 20 years ago. In order to catch up with the growth factors of the future, the Danube area states can use now the EU Danube Strategy to fund and accelerate this process by installing technology transfer centres based on the successful Fraunhofer model.
