New interpretation of data security. Treasure trove of date and business models

Along with the increasing connectivity and data exchange involving vehicles, awareness of the issue of cyber-security is increasing as well. The initial focus is on using proven technologies such as encryption or firewalls. New vehicle-related business models, however, require new paradigms regarding data usage control. Fraunhofer IESE presents the concept of data usage control and shows how it can be used to support new business models.
