Abstract
This survey was made within the AMCAI project founded by the EC in the COPERNICUS 1994 programme. Based on the aims of the AMCAI project to create a network of scientists for improving the logistic processes of Riga harbour container terminal. A review of recently published papers of the field of port terminal simulation is given.
