Abstract
Conversion of disilanes in the distillation residue with gaseous ammonia in a non-polar organic solvent leads to the formation of a polysilazane mixture.When subjected to thermal treatment at around 1200°C the polysiazanes have been pyrolyzed into si-N-C-materials.
