The single sintering technique with densities around 7.1 g/ccm is able to cover the needs of 1.5 to 2.0 l engines up to 7.000 rpm and promises, fracture splitting of the big bore provided, a very economic and reliable alternative with the advantage of guarenteed minimum weight scatter below plus/minus 5 g and dimensional accuracy.
