Title

Effect of selenium on hydrogenase induction and autotrophic growth of Bradyrhizobium japonicum

Other Title
Effekt von Selen auf die Induktion der Hydrogenase und das autotrope Wachstum von Bradyrhizobium japonicum
Abstract
Because certain bacterial enzymes (1) and hydrogenases in Methanococcus vanielli and Desulfovibrio contain Se (2,3), we conducted experiments to determine whether Se is important in the H2-recycling system within nodules or in the H2metabolism by pure cultures of rhizobia. (IFU)
