A knowledge portal for definition and maintenance of structure and content of management systems

The Management Systems Engineering method supports the realization of management tasks, for instance the development and implementation of business models. This paper describes the technological innovation of this method, which is given by the software tool Management System Builder (MSB). MSB provides bidirectional access to the MSE-Knowledge Base module, which contains structurally different performance indicator based management systems. This paper describes the concept, functionalities, and use of this knowledge portal that functions as a design and maintenance tool for performance indicator based management systems.
