Title

Experimental parameter identification for material models including deformation induced volume dilation for thermoplastic materials

Abstract
Simulation of structures made from thermoplastic materials under crash loads including large deformations and failure is still a challenge for most existing numerical tools. To model the complex mechanical behaviour of thermoplastic materials new models have been developed. To reproduce the mechanical behaviour in the simulation, model parameters for each material have to be identified by experimental testing.
