Title
Stereophonic reproduction by earphones with control of special transfer functions through head movements
Abstract
If artificial-head signals are reproduced by earphones the following transmission error often occurs. Although the sound sources are located in front of the artificial head, the sound images are localized behind the listener ('directional inversions of sound images'). Hearing experiments and results are reported which show that the relative frequency of those directional inversions can be reduced, by controlling special networks which are connected to the earphones.
