Title

Design and implementation of a KobrA support for the IBM rational software architect

Abstract
The goal of this thesis is to design and implement a support application for the KobrA (Komponentenbasierte Anwendungsentwicklung) method that is integrated in the environment of IBM's Rational Software Architect. Therefore, a set of requirements is established with regard to an ideal CASE (Computer-Aided Software Engineering) tool that fully supports the KobrA method. Furthermore, the relevant architectural aspects are examined and the components identified with which a subset of these requirements is implemented. After an illustration of the new graphical parts of the tool and an explanation of the most complex implementation parts, a survey is created in order to validate the Usability and Efficiency of the tool.
