Title

A Cost-effective Single Element Dielectric Rod Antenna for THz Applications

Abstract
A low-loss silicon rod antenna designed for coupling terahertz (THz) signals from indium phosphide (InP) photoconductive and photodiode devices is presented. Key design considerations addressed in this work include the selection of chip structure, suitable contact pads and appropriate printed circuit board (PCB) material for high-frequency performance.
