Optimization of a diode-pumped thulium fiber laser with a monolithic cavity towards 278 W at 1967 nm

Abstract
We present a thulium fiber laser with a monolithic cavity emitting at 1967 nm. The output power of 278 W is the highest presented so far for a diode-pumped thulium fiber laser below 2 µm.
