FIPS - Ein Filamentbündel Positions-Meßsystem

The measurement principle and the properties of an opto-electronical system for the online-measurement of average filament-bundle positions are presented. The detected and quantified position variations of a filament-bundle are correlated with the stability of the spinning-process. It has been verified that the position of a filament-bundle in the quench is influenced by a variety of parameters of the spinning-process.
