New standard in the sanitary facility sector by means of an innovative physical product structure of steel taps
Abstract
Edelstahl hatte in der Armaturentechnik bislang nur eine untergeordnete Bedeutung. Ein technologischer Umbruch deutet sich bei Sanitärarmaturen an. Mit der Entwicklung einer neuen Produktionstechnologie und dem Einsatz von Edelstahl für die Armaturenkörper eröffnet der Schwarzwälder Armaturenhersteller Hansgrohe ganz neue Perspektiven. Bislang werden die Armaturen-Grundkörper aus Messing gegossen, spanend bearbeitet und verchromt. Hansgrohe stellt jetzt erste Baumuster aus Edelstahl in einem neuen High-tech-Verfahren her. The body of a sanitary tap usually is made of brass cast as basic material. Using high grade steel for the body of a sanitary tap the Hans Grohe GmbH, Schiltach, sets a new standard for products of the sanitary sector. By means of this, the manufacturing process and the use-phase of the tap is influenced, and results in improved economical and ecological effects.
