Automated warehouse systems - integration into modern production philosophies

Software becomes the main component in modern automated warehouse systems. Using examples from german industries the paper shows an innovative concept for the control of production and logistics systems. Based on this concept methods and tools for "constructing" cost-efficient control software are presented.
