Optimierung der mechanischen und tribologischen Eigenschaften keramischer Schichten Nutzen für die Kniegelenk-Endoprothetik

Alternative
Optimization of mechanical and tribological properties of cera mic coatings for application in knee prosthesis
Abstract
The optimization of mechanical and tribilogical properties of ceramic coatings is based on screening tests. There fore agglomerated powders of systems Al 2O 3/TiO 2 and Al 2O 3/ ZrO 2 were used. After plasmaspraying the requested quality of surface will be reached by grinding and polishing. The coating systems Al 2O 3(70%)/TiO 2 (30%) and Al 2O 3(57,5%)/ ZrO 2 (42,5%) are favorized, based on evaluation of tensile and tribological test results. The further optimization is focussed on improving the homogenization of morphology and adhesion.
