Abstract
The authors want to make readers aware of the following mistake An error has occurred regarding data in Table 3 of the above named article. The actual content of U-U-U-type triglycerides in Ecuadorian palm oil is not, as given in the article, 10.07 ( ±0.13) %. It adds to 11.59 ( ±0.23) %. The reason for this erroneous declaration was a missing link of the triglyceride LLO in an Excel sheet summarizing the raw data of the HPLC analysis of the triglycerides. By the enhanced values of U-U-U-type TG also the statistical significance levels have changed and have been amended in the revised table.
