Title

A Way to Detect Hydrogen-Induced Stress Corrosion Cracking (HISCC) at and Early Stage

Abstract
The investigation show that diffusion of hydrogen into ferritic steel leads to changes in the measured micromagnetic paramenters. This can be explained by the interaction of the magnetic structure with locally occuring residual stress fields. In principle, an early recognition of H-induced stress corossion cracking is thus possible.
