Abstract
Compliance with safety standards is an essential requirement for bringing new robots onto the market. In 2014 ISO has published the standard ISO 13482 which defines safety requirements for service robots. A new document, ISO 23482-2, is currently prepared with the goal to also provide some guidelines for verification and practical testing of safety to the user.
