Video compression for integrated digital video broadcasting (DVB-H)
Abstract
This paper discusses the integrated DVB-H video playout systems with efficient compression. Reports on a project ISyP to study digital video transmission (DVB-H) capacities. This paper reviews video streaming, encapsulation and time-slicing (sub-channelling) methods, to allow bandwidth sharing. Presents a block diagram of a statistical multiplexing system for DVB-H (hand-held digital video broadcasting).
