Design of position sensor systems based on 3D Hall probe

The design of position sensor systems for multiple degrees of freedom is a very demanding process. Optimum results can only be accomplished using design tools, which support the designer by providing methods to rapidly describe design concepts, simulate different designs as well at the level of coarse concepts as on the level of detailed construction and finally visualize simulation results. A prototype, which is yet under development, was implemented and first results are obtained.
