Physiology and biochemistry of N2-fixation by Cyanobacteria

Aspects of the subject have recently been reviewed by several authors (Stanier, Cohen-Bazire 1977; Haselkorn 1978; Stewart 1980; Hawkesford et al. 1983; Wolk 1982; Bothe et al. 1980; Bothe 1982; Neuer et al. 1983). Therefore newer findings, published in the last two years, will preferentially be discussed in the present communication.
