SOTM terminal testing under real-world conditions

Abstract
This paper discusses the design and requirements of a far field test range for SOTM terminals in Ilmenau, Germany. The benefits form this test range, controllable and repeatable test conditions,shall be discussed. Preliminary results from measurements incorporating a SOTM terminal from NDSatCom GmbH will be presented.
