Title
An action-based model of graphics interaction control for group work
Abstract
CSCW-environments have to support synchronous communication between the users solving a common problem. This is not only to send messages or to show some graphics. Often, it is necessary to discuss on-line or to handle the same data together. Therefore, we need to coordinate the user action. In this paper, I have analysed, what the users do with the graphics and what happens with the graphics in the context of group work. An action-based interaction model for realizing CSCW-environments is described. Herefore, the users are considered as actors manipulating graphics where these graphics are connected with each other through the corresponding application data or directly by constraints and dependencies.
