EDV-gestütztes Instrumentarium zur Ökobilanzierung

In the scope of a project sponsored by the Fraunhofer Gesellschaft methodologies related to the three steps of life-cycle assessment, i.e. inventory, impact assessment and evaluation, have been improved under consideration of national and international attempts for standardization and harmonization (DIN/ISO, SETAC). The present article presents the broad applicability and feasibility of the tool by describing the steps "impact assessment" (Fraunhofer-Institut für Umweltchemie und Ökotoxikologie) and "evaluation" (Fraunhofer-Institut für Systemtechnik und Innovationsforschung) by means of an example.
