Title

Electroluminescent materials

Abstract
Recent advances in the development of efficient thin film electroluminescent materials are summarized. Emphasis is given to new ZnS based colour thin film phosphors such as Zn1-xMgxS and rare-earth doped alkaline-earth based materials such as SrS:Ce. These phosphors will be applied in future thin film electroluminescent multi- and full-colour displays.
